We run the Landmannalaugar Photo tours from June to October each year, or to be precise, when they open the roads until they close them. On this photo tour, we visit the South Highlands until we reach Landmannalaugar. This is a special place in the world, a moon like feeling with its various colours, mountains, lakes, moss, black sands, lava and volcanic craters. We will visit less known waterfalls on the way and if people are interested we can hike up Bláfell in Landmannalaugar for a terrific overview of the Highlands. We recommend you take your bathing close and a towel along so we can dip in the geothermal pools.  In the Highlands, there are so many different photography opportunities that we could spend a week up there and not get them all. As always, good hiking shoes and warm clothes are recommended.  Contact us at for more information on the tour.
