About
Aron’s passion for adventure was sparked early, growing up exploring the rugged Icelandic Highlands with his family from a young age. His insatiable thirst for adventure has taken him on countless expeditions around the world, where he’s hiked through remote landscapes, skied across untamed terrain, cycled through challenging routes, and even ridden motorcycles, snowmobiles, and driven powerful super jeeps.
Aron’s love for photography ignited when he was just thirteen, and it’s been an unbreakable part of his life ever since. With a keen eye for the extraordinary, he captures the beauty of the world in a way only an adventurer can.

Aron holds a degree in Photography from the prestigious Icelandic School of Photography and is a certified mountain guide with a wealth of experience. Over the last decade, he has led numerous expeditions across some of the world’s most extreme environments, including Iceland, Greenland, and Antarctica. His expertise as a lead guide is matched only by his dedication to capturing the landscapes he explores.
Since 2016, Aron has been a trusted freelance guide for Arctic Exposure, blending his guiding skills with his passion for photography. His breathtaking work has been showcased in several galleries across Iceland, where his images tell stories of adventure and the raw beauty of the natural world.
