Landmannalaugar 

We run Landmannalaugar tours from June to September each year, or to be precise, when they open the roads until they close them. On this tour, we visit the South Highlands until we reach Landmannalaugar. This is a unique place in the world, you get a moon-like feeling when you look over the landscape with its various colours, mountains, lakes, moss, black sands, lava and volcanic craters. We will visit less known waterfalls on the way and if people are interested we can hike up Bláfell in Landmannalaugar for a terrific overview of the Highlands.

We recommend you take your bathing suit and a towel along so we can dip in the geothermal pools. In the Highlands, there are so many different photo opportunities that we could spend a week up there and not get them all. You need to be wearing good hiking shoes and warm clothes and we will provide you with a recommended clothing and equipment list.
